After an intense judging process, category sponsors, key business associates and industry names that are respected for their vision and success, confirmed Tommy’s Hair Company as a leader within their field by being awarded the ‘Salon of the Year’ Award.

Along with 5 other finalists in the named category, Tommy’s Hair Company faced a two-month wait until winners were announced by celebrity media host Stephen Mulhern at the black tie ceremony on Monday 8th September at the Lancaster London Hotel.

HJ’s executive director Jayne Lewis-Orr said: “Tonight is all about celebrating the very best in this amazing industry – those teams, individuals and business leaders who elevate the profession by offering the best in customer service, innovative marketing campaigns, exceptional training programmes and so much more.”

Tommy and Stylist Jonny Williams went up to collect the Award on behalf of the Team, Tommy mentioned how it’s the hard work that every individual puts in that counts “We couldn’t be who we are, or where we are without the people that sit behind that chair every day and put in 110%, we have a fantastic team that makes us want to give more, as they are always working so hard”

Google IT!

On Tuesday, Gavyn and Ian (of www.tommysdesign.co.uk ) were lucky enough to visit Google in London to attend a digital marketing course, hosted by L'oreal and Google!

The duo were blown away by the hospitality offered, and were even more blown away by the interior as seen above!

"This is the library" says Ian, Director of Tommy's Design.  "when you look out the windows, you have an almost uninterrupted view of London all across the skyline, it's truly incredible."

Well she has been away from the scene for a little while but she is back! We asked Sally Matischok, now of the Chester Branch, what she's seen on the scene recently, and what she thinks is going to translate down on the High Street this Spring/Summer.  Looks like it's going to be 90's revival minimum hair and
bold art-box colours (not just block either, think hair chalk patterns!!), messy styles, and inventive hair up!  We love it!
